About us 

Hi! I'm Joanna. Acro Aussies was built on my passion and love for raising animals! In 2009 I got my first dog, a lab named Tracey. She was the typical family dog and we loved her very much. She is still alive and going strong at 12 years! In 2021 I decided that I wanted another dog, and really was interested in the Australian Shepherd breed! When one of my friends began breeding and raising Aussies, I fell in love. In March of 2021 I brought my first Aussie (Skye) home. She was (and is) an amazing dog and I have loved training, playing, and just all around being with her. In October of 2021 Harbour was born and I knew I needed one more Aussie! After working closely with Mitin Aussies and learning a lot from them I decided that I truly did want to breed Australian Shepherds and provide quality dogs to my community! As we go through our journey we can't wait to meet all the amazing people and raise amazing dogs.

Our Mission & how we raise our dogs

We aim high and provide the same for our dogs. All our parents are genetically tested before they are bred and come from wonderful, quality, pedigreed lines. Our dogs our either AKC or CKC registered and some are even dual. We feed our dogs high quality food and they have many opportunities to be outside, leash free, in a country environment. We work hard to acclimate them to different objects, situations, and noises they might face. They are raised around other animals such as chickens, rabbits, cats, and other dogs and learn to live in harmony with them. We breed for for show, sport, working, service and companion dogs but most of all fantastic and socialized dogs that will be with you for life. We also implement aspects of the Badass Breeder curriculum into our program and use ENS and ESI on our pups. Raised in a home and family environment these dogs are part of our family from the start. We enjoy working with the fun colours and also choose to keep our tails full on our dogs. Each and every dog that is born and raised at Acro Aussies holds a special place in our hearts and we are always available even long after the puppies have left our care. If you have purchased a puppy from us you are part of our Acro Aussie's family and will forever be. We are ALWAYS willing to take a dog back if you are no longer able to care for them.

We want to show everyone how blessed we are to have such wonderful animals in our life. We believe that animals were created to  comfort us, make us laugh, and remind us of God's love for us. We hope to share this joy with you.
